Family Reunion Fun at the Hampton Inn & Suites

Make the most of your next Family Reunion

By Mary Campbell July 2, 2018

Families come in all shapes and sizes, some are able to visit together often, while others plan out big reunions to catch up.  My husband’s family is an outgoing and fun bunch that love to plan an annual family reunion in different parts of the country, providing us the opportunity to travel and make memories in a new place together.  This year we got to travel to Tyler, Texas where we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites, which was the perfect family reunion spot!

Picking a family reunion location is no easy task, but the Hampton Inn & Suites in Tyler had everything we were looking for: amenities for kids, older family, and all of us in between.  There was plenty of room for everyone to gather and room to spread out to play.  With Dallas International Airport a quick hour and a half drive, it was easily accessible as well.

Hotels can vary in what they offer, but the Hampton Inn & Suites had all my top priorities: swimming pool, free breakfast, free parking, and a fitness room.  A pool is a must when traveling with young kids to help wear them out, and they swam with their cousins until the sun went down!  Free breakfast is always a bonus, and for a family reunion, it was the perfect spot to connect with everyone before our day's events.

Surrounded by the Village at Cumberland Park outdoor mall, our hotel was walking distance to a movie theater, trampoline park, escape room, and numerous restaurant options.  With afternoon’s left open for us to explore the city, we took advantage of these activities with our family.

As you think about planning your next family reunion, check out all the different Hampton Inn & Suites locations.  While the location may be different, the level of service always surpasses my expectation.  So message those family members, and start picking a place to travel and make memories together!
