Creative Roots - Hydration Never Tasted So Good

Mac Kid Mom Review - Fruit Flavored Coconut Water for Kids

By Mary Campbell December 13, 2020

"Mom mode" kicked into high gear as my 8-year-old complained of a headache and being tired. With all of the current health scares, the last thing I want to hear is that my child isn’t feeling good… and I’ve learned from experience, don’t Google the symptoms.

Luckily, my child’s physician fit me in for a video appointment and right away she asked me how much fluid my child drank each day****. I couldn’t answer that question with certainty, and she let me know that 1 in 2 kids is under hydrated*.  I knew it was time to learn more about hydration, and I’m excited to share with you what I learned about a new plant-powered beverage called Creative Roots, which contains the hydration kids need, in delicious flavors.

Creative Roots comes in four great flavors with 1 gram of sugar***: Watermelon Lemonade, Peach Mango, Orange Pineapple, and Mixed Berry. I’ve stocked my fridge with the different varieties and I love to see my kids reach for a Creative Roots drink with each meal or snack instead of a sugary sports drink.

While the flavors are totally kid-approved, the kids also enjoy the plant-powered Sploots characters on the side of each bottle that encourage overall wellness and remind kids of the importance of hydration.

With some added hydration, my son’s headache went away and my focus on his daily hydration has changed.  He is also more conscious of his fluid intake and he has fun sharing with me about which Sploots were on his Creative Roots drink that day.

Creative Roots is available in our local Target, Safeway, and Walmart stores.
