Pumpkin Patch Season is finally here! And who doesn't love being surrounded by rows and rows of bright orange pumpkins and unique looking gourds.
Even though there seems to be so many options for pumpkin patches these days, our absolute family favorite has always been Fog Willow.
This isn’t any ordinary pumpkin patch: it’s an old farm nestled in the rural countryside of Wilton. It is situated just a quick 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento, Folsom, and Lodi.
It’s so “off the grid” that you might miss it if you weren't looking for it!
Fog Willow is a very friendly, safe, "Edu-Tainment" farm where the owners have taken pride in the fact that you can come here to celebrate all that is agriculture, all that is family and all that is FUN!
They have all sorts of unique pumpkins outside of the traditional orange ones. There are multiple areas where kids can pet and feed various farm animals big and small. Families can enjoy the old fashioned hayride while indulging in home made fudge (my personal fav) and other speciality treats from the sugar shed and snack bar. All of these goodies can also be enjoyed at the new shaded picnic area. Your kiddos will be bouncing around from one fun thing to another from climbing haystacks, enjoying the adventure course to taking a ride on the Flying Swine Barrel Train and if that isn't enough, they even have Gem Mining at "The Big Dig". Can I also mention that this farm is the perfect place to take family photos!!! Get your cameras ready because you'll find so many photo ops here.
