Did you know that National Tea Party day is on April 21st? With that being said, I think it's the perfect time to plan your own little tea party at home or make reservations at The Hidden Tea Room in Lodi.
Elizabeth Jurado is a former teacher and at a very young age had always dreamt of businesses she would love to have one day. Ever since she can remember, she envisioned herself owning and running a business. Well that dream came true when the opportunity came up for her to purchase The Hidden Tea Room this year. Although it has been around since 2016, Elizabeth is excited to make some changes by adding her own personal touches to the place but will continue to run it as a Tea Room. She loves how she can be creative with planning special themed events throughout the year to choosing an array of seasonal food and dessert items and finding new teas to feature each month. She said she wants returning customers to look forward to their favorites but always have something new to share as well.
Elizabeth is grateful that the Hidden Tea room has been busy and that reservations are being made from people within the community and a majority of them being visitors from out of town. She enjoys meeting so many new people every day who are all excited to share in a unique tea experience at The Hidden Tea Room. Although you don't need a special occasion to come in, this happens to be a spot where people enjoy hosting their special events from baby & bridal showers, birthdays & anniversaries, a girls day out or even a special date night. The Hidden Tea room is a lovely space for you to enjoy a "high tea" or fancy tea party. You get to choose from a Cream Tea, Teddy Bear Tea, or the incredible Queens Tea Tower. All tea services are accompanied by one pot of loose leaf tea and an assortment of delicious savories and sweets.
The other thing that makes this little tea room so special and unique is that it has an adorable gift shop. You can find an assortment of new gift items, vintage pieces and of course a selection of tea themed items and accessories. Elizabeth hopes to carry and showcase more products and items from local businesses.
